Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
        for Therapy Services

As part of my commitment to transparency and informed care, I want to make sure you’re aware of your rights under the No Surprises Act, a federal law that protects individuals who are uninsured or paying out of pocket for healthcare services — including psychotherapy.

What Is a Good Faith Estimate?

If you’re not using insurance for your sessions, you’re entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE). This document outlines the anticipated cost of your therapy services before we begin working together.

The estimate will include:

  • The cost per session

  • The total number of sessions expected (if known)

  • Any additional fees, if applicable

You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling or at any time during our work together.

  When Will I Receive It?

You will receive your Good Faith Estimate in writing:

  • At least 1 business day before your first scheduled session

  • Or within 3 business days if requested prior to booking

I will make sure the estimate is easy to understand and tailored to your treatment plan as much as   possible.

What If My Actual Costs Are Higher?

If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above the amount listed in your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges through a formal resolution process. Details about how to do this will be included with your estimate.
